For questionnaire-authoring, Sensus requires a computer running Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 for creating questionnaires and working with respondent data. Sensus also requires that you have the Internet Information Services (IIS) and Internet Explorer installed on your PC. A high-speed Internet connection is recommended for deploying questionnaires, coding and editing data online, and downloading respondent data.

For deploying studies on the Web, Sensus requires a Windows 2000/2003/2008 server with IIS installed. The server must permit the installation of third-party applications.

Sensus is also 64-bit compatible.
